The youth website HoeZoMediawijs.nl is about fun, safe and smart use of (social) media and media literacy - especially for children and youngsters.
The website is a Netwerk Mediawijsheid initiative. Children and youngsters can learn more (on their own, without any help from school or parents) about media literacy themes, for example about safe internet use, how you interact with each other online, how you recognize a fake profile and how you can learn to program yourself.
This website is especially made for children. It's a place where they can find a lot of information, tricks and tools. The website is about topics that lie in the perception of children and youngsters: such as safe internet use, how you interact with each other online, about programming and vlogging, but also topics like hacking, cyberbullying and how to expose an online fraud. These topics are becoming more and important, so it's our main goal to guide them in a world full of media possibilities and risks.
