In Slovenia, there is still a lack of quality positive online content for children. We do believe that the main reason is the relatively small market compared to high production costs that need to be invested to make the content interactive, animated and appealing to children. In most cases, online content is available in the form of a website that unifies the educational content, animations, video stories, games, quizzes, and so on.
Časoris, a Slovenian project focusing on publication of the online newspaper for children, should be nevertheless mentioned here. In March 2019 Časoris was nominated for the first European Media Literacy Award.
