The Positive Online Content Campaign is delivered as part of Better Internet for Kids (BIK), a European Commission-funded initiative aimed at creating a better internet for Europe's children and youth. The BIK initiative is now in its third cycle under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) funding instrument. BIK is managed on behalf of the European Commission by European Schoolnet (EUN).
As with previous editions, this year for the POCC Awareness Month 2022, we collaborated with FSM e. V., the German Association for Voluntary Self-Regulation of Digital Media service providers.
We would also like to extend our warm thanks to members of the Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres (SICs) in Europe, and their partners, who contributed to updating the current state of play of Positive Online Content in their countries, as well as populating the gallery of examples of Positive Online Content for children.
A special thanks also goes the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) Youth Ambassadors for supporting the Awareness Month.
