Private and public organisations in Latvia have created some very good and qualitative online materials for children in recent years which help them to deepen/improve their knowledge, develop new skills, or generate interest in certain areas. Resources are on various topics: different safety issues, language learning tools, cultural heritage, sciences, and so on.
Content providers collaborate with schools to make sure children receive information about useful content and also invite teachers to use it during class lessons. Additionally, providers often promote content via social media to reach the parental audience too.
One notwoerthy intiative from Latvia would be Skola 2030, which is a national project to change the school curriculum integrating modern technologies and developing interdisciplinary skills for students. More information about the project is available here (in English).
